Thanks to Bookhounds and I Am A Reader, Not A Writer for hosting The Gratitude Giveaways! Lots of bloggers are giving away books and bookish stuff to their readers in a big thank you for their support. For all the links to the giveaways, click HERE.

This year I am giving away a surprise package of books that includes a variety of genres — something for everyone. Although it’s a surprise, I’ll let you in on one of the books included — An Endless Christmas by Cynthia Ruchti! To enter, just leave me a comment about what you are thankful for. Good luck!

    I could list so many things I’m thankful for, but I’m going to say my family. I am blessed with a family who is always supportive… and who model Jesus’ love in so many ways.

    I’m grateful for my eyesight, my mental capacities, and great books to read! I’m grateful to have good enough health and time to help other people! Furthermore, I’m grateful for my wonderful, Godly husband of 40 years and for my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

    Normally I am thankful in general. I have a great husband, precious children and a blessed life. However this year is different. I was diagnosed with a malignant tumor on the right side of my face. I had surgery 2 weeks ago and all the cancer was removed. I have possibly more surgery scheduled to improve the resulting scar but that is no big deal in my book. The hardest part of the recovery was not being able to read because of the swelling under my eye. I am healing and reading and looking forward to a blessed holiday season. I am truly thankful this year!

    I am thankful for my God who allowed me to be born into a wonderful family, find an honest husband who is incredibly caring and three beautiful children. I’m looking forward to reading some Christmas books to get into the season. 😉

    I could be here for hours telling you what I am thankful for. One of the biggest right now is my job. As little as a month ago, I didn’t know what would happen with my job. The station I worked for was sold to a huge enterprise that was going to eat us up and leave us hunting for work. Thanks to God, the sale went through and so did a new opportunity and a new station. I am amazed and grateful.

    I have a huge list of what I am thankful for but at the top it is for God the Eternal Father and His Son Jesus Christ and for the atoning sacrifice. Without that, blessing and life itself would be for naught

    I am thankful that I live in a house when so many people are homeless. I am thankful that I have plenty of food. My car runs well. I am thankful that my husband and I are veterans and therefore have medical care. I am thankful that my dad has been doing better and was able to get off of hospice because he is expected to live more than 6 months.
