Write ‘em, Draw ‘em, Hide ‘em In Your Heart

742982Just Sayin’ isn’t your typical 90-day devotional for girls. It’s an all-out open space for you to explore and learn more about yourself and your faith. Prompts get your mind thinking, ideas flowing, and help turn your thoughts and emotions into dynamic doodles and so much more! Let that God-given gift of creativity shine each and every day!

Each of the short devotions is designed for girls just like you, with relevant topics, quotes, and Scripture, plus doodles, journal prompts, lists, puzzles, quizzes, fill-in-the-blank prayers, or unique activities. carol-mcadams-moore-72dpi-3-copy(From the author’s website) Carol McAdams Moore writes for tweens and for children who are just beginning to read. She writes for the Christian and general markets. Her prayer is that children will discover that Jesus is more amazing than we can imagine!

Besides being a writer, she is a teacher, a wife, and a parent. She lives in the Midwest with her husband, her pug (Milo), and her cat (Luna).

My Impressions:

Looking for a way to engage your 8-12 year old with the Word of God? Then you need to check out Carol McAdams Moore’s devotionals, Just Sayin’ (for girls) and Dare U 2 Open This Book (for boys). Each book has 3 months worth of devotions that will get your child thinking and reading through questions, journaling and doodling. The books are more than just a quick Bible reading and telling you what to think. Instead, they get your child thinking on their own about important issues such as what plans God has for them and what they need to change to start to look just like Christ. Challenging and interactive, both of these books will grab your kids and lead them to deeper study, prayer and relationship with God. Perfect for gift giving, I recommend both of these books.

Recommended.

Audience: children ages 8-12
