She has interviewed countless artists, including Willie Nelson, Amy Grant, Third Day, Don Henley, Bon Jovi, Chris Rice, Charlie Daniels, Kirk Franklin, 3 Doors Down, Sarah Brightman, Alan Jackson, Kenny Chesney, Smokey Robinson, Brad Paisley, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Steven Curtis Chapman, Sandra Bullock, and Robert Duvall. A respected music industry analyst, Deborah has been interviewed by key media outlets including MSNBC, CNN, the Today Show, ABC’s Prime Time Live, the Gospel Music Channel, Country Music Television, The Washington Post and the New York Times, among others. Fred, not all the books I receive in the mail are ones I request to review. Yes the book was free, but it was unsolicited. Unfortunately, I do not have the time to read all the books that show up at my door. My husband and family would really suffer if that’s all I did. 😉 For those books that I find interesting, but cannot review, I spotlight. I thought that this one would interest my readers and if so they could take some time to check it out for themselves. Sorry that the post was not helpful for you.
Now a word about my reviews — Many of the books I review are free. I receive them from publishers, PR groups and authors. However, I do buy a good number of books that I review. I always note the source of the books. If I like a book, I tell you why. If I don’t, I am honest, but direct the reader to a positive review. Reviews are by their nature subjective. What I like, may not be what you like. It is always good to check out multiple reviews.
